HELLOOOOOOOOO!

So I am back and I am going to be once again posting here. I have had pets come and go :( since starting this blog and now I would like to begin again to share the life of my pets in hopes that you will enjoy with me, in the joys of pet ownership.

I would like to just have fun with this blog by sharing my pets. I guess I'm a little wierd but I'm really into my pets and I love having them.

So follow my journey with my pets (here and to come) and hopefully I can also enlighten you on some fun(ny) pet "facts" or not so facts.

My Cats Have a Love Hate Relationship

I am amazed that after having Momma for 2 and a half years that her and my other cat Jazmine still don't get along.

It's kinda funny. If they catch themselves eating or drinking together, one of then stops and backs up slooowly lol.

If one of them go to get in a window and find the other is there, it starts and intense staring match...lol of which I than have to go and break the tension.

There both fixed and both females and yet I've never had 2 pets that been together as long as them and still have a problem with each other.

Do you have pets that refuse to get along? What do you do about it?

Chloe's New Hair Cut { from ME }

I absolutely loooove my baby girl! She is so sweet and just makes me smile.

I decided to cut her hair in her face because the last time we took her to the groomer they didn't cut her face hardly which was definitely not what I had asked them.

But I finally sat down to cut the hair out of her face and the first pick is a couple days before and the second is after the hair cut.






I think I did pretty good for my first time. I still have to cut a little more.

Picky Eating Dog

I don't know what's going on with my dog.
She has become the most picket dog Eater every since we re homed Marley about 2 months ago.


She for some reason is not eating her dog food. So far I have tried 3 different brands but right now I'm just trying to finish off this last bag by mixing a lil with other things. So it's almost done.

I'm at the point that i think I'm going to try to start making her food. Which i always wanted to start but wasn't quite ready but I think I'm being forced in that direction. I still want to find a hard dog food she'll eat so that she won't just be eating soft food but I don't know how to pick it. I can't keep exchanging dog food that's been open {I think the stores will eventually say something about bringing back open dog food}.

So what do you guys do about your picky dog eaters?

So far I have given her some spaghetti because we had some very plain spaghetti we didn't like. I looked up what was safe for dogs and have been giving her a little a couple times a week {not everyday, I read they shouldn't have too much}. I have also made some gravy for her with the juices from our pork chops {of course she loved it}; and I made her some ground beef mixed with the gravy and some flax seed oil with a little of her hard dog food... she was in dog heaven!



These were quick, on the spot ideas. I'm going to be doing some actual recipes. This should be fun.

Also, what are some of the dog foods you feed your picky little eaters?

Dog Introduction

We currently have 2 dogs.

The first being a min pinscher/pegkenese(something like that) mix. Yes! I know when I first heard I was like well what do that look like?!?! And honestly when I first googled it I was not impressed.... at all. But since I was getting her free from a friend and the mix was selling for $800+ dollars of course I HAD to still look into them. We went over my friends to prepick ours and we fell in love our little girl...

And the rest is history, we've had our little princess for going on 2 years now and shes as spoiled as I let her...smh... :)

Our other baby (I use that term loosely...lol) is Marley he is a black lab mix with german shepherd. He is newer to our home and we decided to get after having an incident with security in our home. 

Time to Revamp the Blog....

So I have not written on this blog since 2011 smh... but now I have decided to revamp this blog.

I no longer have the same dogs or should I say pets that I had but I do still have pets. Needless to say, my husband and I have not really been without pets since we've been married which is 4 going on 5 years. And actually I had pets when we met.

The beginning stages of our marriage was very rocky or should I say unstable and so I am very thankful that God has brought us to a place of stability in our lives and thereful our current pets reflect that.

The reason Im deciding to revamp this site is because pets have always been a big part of my life and I just about love talking about them... :).

So here's what im looking to do what this blog...

• Homemade Recipes- my personal recipes wont start for a while, im just looking forward to exploring this area.

Mercedes In the Middle!!!

As pretty as she wants to be all in the middle of laundry time. She has so much energy its not even funny. She's like a ball of energy. I still am having a challenging time training her. I think its because I haven't trained in a while and she's a lot to get started with. But I think its going well.
